Gears of War 2

Taking only six Months after the Lightmass Bombing, the Locust Horde has survived and now has begun the destruction of humanity which all begins in the means of sinking entire cities. While the COG army struggles with multiple loses to the Locust raids, the COG plan a counter-attack against the Locust by sending Troops deep below the surface to attack the Loucust at their homeland, the Hollow. After a quick run in with the Locust Armies Leader Skorge, Delta Squad continues to search the Hollow and find out the key to the Locust sinking cities which turns out to be a Giant Riftworm. While Delta Squad will come to realize that the Locust plans to have this Riftworm eat away at the very foundation of Jacinto in hopes of sinking it into nothing.
While the Story will take Multiple turns, and have you facing some of the meanest bosses which includes going deep inside the Riftworm and killing it from the inside, to facing off against the Locust Queen herself. As you play as Marcus, you come to realize that there is more to Delta Squad then just brute Force, and how they tactics are different from the very beast they slaughter

Gameplay

Gears of War 2 is one of the Biggest Third Person Shooters, with a great emphasis on tactical Cover forcing players to think before rushing into any fire fight. Each Weapon has their one learning curve such as the Lancer which will come packed with a chainsaw bayonet, which can be used for those Cut in Half Moments. Gears 2 also introduce the ability to enter the Chainsaw Duel for which each player is to button press rapidly to determine the overall winner.

Uncharted 2 will mainly revolve around the voyage of Marco Polo. The Plot behind Polo was that he departed with Fourteen Ship with over Six Hundred Passengers, but when he landed in Persia a year and a half later, Marco Polo only had One Ship and Eighteen Passengers. While he never revealed what ever happened to his ships.
The Tie in with Uncharted 2 is simple; find the treasure of Marco Polo’s lost fleet. Throughout many Flashbacks, we see Harry Flynn and Chloe Frazer contact Nathan with a Job, to steal a Mongolian Oil Lamp which Leads to the Fleet and Possibly the treasure. Upon reaching the Lamp, Flynn and Drake find’s the Map Showing that the Lost Fleet had been carrying the Cintamani Stone from Shambhala before being shipwrecked by a tsunami, here Drake runs into his first Problem Flynn who double-crosses Drake, who then gets arrested and imprisoned for three months.
Drake and his Long time friend Sully Follow Flynn and his new found Boss Zoran Lazarevic, a major war lord who is thought to be dead, to Borneo. With Inside Help from Chloe working as a Mole, they find out that the Polo’s Fleet never carried the Cintamani Stone. More Twist and Turn are in Route for Drake and his Crew, also the Return on Elena Fisher and her Cameraman play a Huge Role within this Dramatic Story.

Gameplay

Uncharted is an Action-Adventure game, playing as Nathan Drake. Think of Drake a Male version of Lora Croft, prompting him to jump, climb, and scale ledges. While you do have the standard cover system, if the Drake is undetected by his enemies the player can now attempt to use the new stealth moves, to silence his Foes. While Some Areas of the game will force the player to solve puzzles with the help of Drakes Journal which will give you the crucial clue to solve the many challenging puzzles. As mention within the Multiplayer, the one thing Uncharted 2 does to separate itself is the Environments, and just how vertically everything new level can be, it’s a nice treat from the standard linear Level we see in most Third Person Games.

Gears of War 2

Multiplayer

Gears of War 2 carries everything from the Single player into a Detailed Online. Each match will consist of Five-on-Five for all modes, which will range from modes like Warzone to King of the Hill but others such as Submission is a version of Capture the Flag only the Flag is another player who is Downed and must be carried to your Teams Based to capture the point. What are good Maps and Mode without Great Maps and this is one of Gears Strongest points, having maps from Avalanche at which time a huge Storm will roll in changing the map all together. While the same Tactical Fun carries over to the Online, the biggest Part for Tactics will come in the form of Horde.

Horde

Within Horde Five Players are faced with the task of taking on 50 Waves of Locust, oh did I not mention the Difficulty can be extremely high near the End. Players must focus and come up with some great plans for each Wave, seeing you never know what’s around the next Corner. Each Map within Horde is the same that goes for Online which means a great understanding of each Flaw on the map, which in the end will only benefit the players.

Uncharted 2

Multiplayer

The One thing that makes Uncharted Different from any other Third Person Shooter is the environments. And How Vertically everything becomes given so much depth throughout every Online Mode/Map. Uncharted 2’s Online Element Carry right from the Single, giving that you played the Single player; it’s a Huge Walkthrough for the Online. While there is the standard Deathmatch, Uncharted 2 really shines within the Objective Game Modes forcing players to work together.
Another Neat feature that Uncharted 2 Holds, is the ability to watch any Ranked Match you player over again, but also allowing the Player to Add Features such as More sun or even change the games Colour then given the option you can Take a Picture which then takes only a Few Seconds to save to your PS3’s Hard drive

Co-Op

Uncharted 2 has two main forms when it comes to the Online Co-op. The standard where Waves of increasing enemies rush the Three Players while the difficultly will also increase with each new Wave. The newest Addition just came out this month and is Titled Siege where the player rush to capture and hold selected ground against waves. Each round the ground will change assuring that the player will be set for the oncoming slaughter.

God of War end's with you fighting Ares the God of War. While this Battle can be tough the God of War does come to fall by the Hands of Kratos.

What a Way to start off the first God of War, by the fighting the beast of the sea, the Hydra. While the fight is something else, the finisher will leave many to see just how brutal Kratos can be.

God of war 3 Starts with what might be the biggest Battle to start any game. The Poseidon Battle will also introduce the most brutal Quicktime within the God of War Series.

This has the to the Biggest Boss Battle even seen within any game this Generation. This battle goes to show that many games are behind God of War 3 when it comes to Epic Scale.
